Christmas Party
As discussed, voted and agreed in our previous meeting, our annual Christmas party this year will be a dinner style get-together. The dinner venue choices are; Best Western (Traditional meal), Muriale’s (Italian) and possibly The Pines Clubhouse. The average cost per adult will be approximately $26.
The time slot we are looking at will be somewhere between noon to 2 pm. We are inquiring about prices for the children and will have that available soon. The tentative date is Sunday, December 1st for Best Western and Muriale’s. We do not have any more information about The Pines Clubhouse at this time. Please watch our Facebook group and website for any additional details.
There will be a poll up later today on our Facebook page and it is important that anyone interested in attending place a vote. The poll will only be available for a few days and will close by Friday, October 11th, as we need to make our reservations soon.
Members are encouraged to bring a donation for the Veterans who live at the Veterans Nursing Home. Permissible items will be posted later this week.

Final Notes
It was great to see so many members enjoying the club and supporting our meetings activities.
This riding season is quickly coming to an end. Looking forward to the 2020 riding season, I’d like to take this time to encourage all members to participate when possible. This is a joint effort for all members to make this into a memorable upcoming year for us all. So come on everyone lets all step forward and lend a hand, attend a meeting, take group photographs, write an article about one of our rides or events, donate, volunteer, make suggestions, reach out to an old member and encourage them to join us on a ride, invite a potential new member!
Participation is crucial! Happily, the 485 has a great group of officers and a few active members but the long-term growth and success of the chapter depend entirely on the efforts of its members.
If you enjoy and value your membership in this chapter, you owe it to yourself to contribute to its success. Whether it’s attending a get-together, inviting a new member or any of the other activities, don’t assume “the other guy” will always be the one to step up and help/attend. Every extra bit of effort helps. You’ll enjoy the interaction with other members and you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you have made an important contribution to your chapter.
